IG Petrochemicals Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 31, 2008, inter alia, has considered and approved the following:
1. Conversion from EOU to Domestic Unit is under way and statutory compliances are expected to be completed shortly.
2. In view of the general slowdown in economy and the PA market in particular, the Company has decided to shut down immediately One unit of the Plant (PA-2) at Taloja, Maharashtra.
