Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has informed that the Company and NTPC had signed a Joint Venture Agreement on December 17, 2007 for establishment and operation of a Joint Venture Company for taking up EPC business. The Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on January 07, 2008 has further decided to modify the scope of operation of the said JV Company to include manufacturing and supply of equipments for power plants and other infrastructure projects in India and Abroad.
