Forbes Gokak Ltd has informed that an Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the members of the Company will be held on March 20, 2007, inter alia, to transact the following:1. To grant to the Register and Index of Members, the Register and Index of Debenture holders and the copies of all Annual Returns prepared under Sections 159 and 160 and other applicable provisions if any, of the Companies Act, 1956 together with the copies of the certificates and documents required to he annexed thereto under Sections 160 and 161 of the Companies Act, 1956 or any or more of them, being kept on and from the date of this Meeting, at the office of the Registrar and Share Transfer Agents of the Company, TSR Darashaw Ltd, Mahalaxmi, Mumbai.2. For borrowing from time to time as it may consider fit, any sum or sums of money not exceeding Rs 500,00,00,000 on such security and on such terms and conditions as the Board may deem fit, notwithstanding that the moneys to be borrowed together with the moneys already borrowed by the Company (apart from temporary loans obtained from the Companys bankers in the ordinary bourse of business) will exceed the aggregate of the paid-up capital of the Company and its free reserves, that is to say, reserves not set apart for any specific purpose.
