Menon Bearings Ltd has informed that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on December 13, 2008, inter alia, to consider and approve the Scheme of Amalgamation pursuant to Section 391 to 394 of the Companies Act, 1956 of Menon Alkop Pvt. Ltd and MB Autocomponents Pvt. Ltd, (wholly owned subsidiary Companies of the Company) with the Company with effect from appointed date i.e. October 01, 2008, subject to approval of various authorities.
