With reference to the earlier announcement dated May 30, 2008 regarding consideration of Audited Financial Results of the Company for the year ended December 31, 2007 at the Board Meeting to be held on June 07, 2008, Assam Company Ltd has now informed that the Board of Directors meeting on June 07, 2008 was held and adjourned due to conditions arising out of Bandh in West Bengal / Assam on two consecutive days i.e. 5th , 6th June 2008.
The Company will inform shortly the next date of the adjourned Board meeting which will consider the Audited Financial Results of the Company for the year ended December 31, 2007 and matters related thereto.
