Bank of Maharashtra - Outcome of Board Meeting

Bank of Maharashtra has informed that the Board of Directors of the Bank at its meeting held on December 17, 2007, has decided to convene an Extraordinary General Meeting of the shareholders of the Bank on February 13, 2008 for Election of Shareholder Directors from amongst shareholders other than the Central Government, in place of retiring Shareholder Directors.In pursuant to Section 9(3)(i) of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970, there would be two vacancies on Board after January 07, 2008.
