Syndicate Bank has informed that the 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the shareholders of the Bank will be held on June 21, 2007, inter alia, to transact the following business:1. To discuss, approve and adopt, the Balance Sheet of the Bank as at March 31, 2007 and the Profit & Loss Account of the Bank for the year ended on that date, the Report of the Board of Directors on the working and activities of the Bank for the period covered by the Accounts and the Auditors Report on the Balance Sheet and Accounts.2. To declare dividend for the financial year 2006-07.3. To issue and allot such number of equity shares of Rs 10/- each and in any case not exceeding 8,00,00,000 and aggregating to not more than Rs 80,00,00,000 to persons like individuals, Companies, FIIs, Financial Institutions, Banks, Qualified Institutional Buyers, Employees, Employees Trust(s) or other investors, or not and whether or not shareholders of the Bank or any combination of the above as may be deemed appropriate by the Bank, subject to necessary provisions & approvals.
