Birla Ericsson Optical Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 23, 2007, has re-appointed Mr. D R Bansal as Managing Director of the Company for a further period of 3 years with effect from August 08, 2007, subject to approval of the shareholders in the General Meeting.
