Thermax - Outcome Of Board Meeting

Thermax Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 31, 2007, inter alia, has approved the appointment of Mr. M S Unnikrishnan as Managing Director of the Company - effective July 01, 2007. Mr. Unnikrishnan, Executive Vice President, has been with the Company for the past 15 years. He is supported by a strong and capable team. The current Managing Director, Mr. Prakash Kulkarni, retires at the end of June this year, as per the Companys retirement policy. Mr. Kulkarni took over as MD in July 2000 and has led the turnaround and growth of the Company over the past six years. The Company is one of the few Companies in the world that offers integrated and innovative solutions in the areas of heating, cooling, power, waste and water management, air pollution control and chemicals. The sustainable solutions the Company develops for client Companies are environment - friendly and enable efficient deployment of energy and water resources.
