Dhampure Specialty Sugars Ltd has informed that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on December 20, 2008, inter-alia, to consider and approve withdrawal of Scheme of Arrangement, being Composite Scheme of De-Merger and Amalgamation for De-Merger of Real Estate Division of Dhampur Alco-Chem Ltd into Sun Infoplanet Ltd; and Amalgamation of the Company with Dhampur Alco-Chem Ltd which is pending before the Honble High Court(s). The decision of the Board, if any, will be subject to the approval of Honble High Court(s).
