Andhra Bank Has Informed That A Board Directors Extraordinary - Dec23, 2008

Andhra Bank has informed that a meeting of Board of Directors of the Bank will be held on the December 30, 2008, to fix the date of conducting of Extraordinary General Meeting of the Bank for the purpose of electing Directors from amongst the shareholders of the Bank other than Central Government as per Section 9(3)(i) of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980 and to fix the Record Date for ascertaining shareholders who will be entitled to participate in the election of shareholder Directors at the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Bank.

Andhra Bank - Outcome Of AGM - July 25 , 2008

Andhra Bank has informed that the members at the 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Bank held on June 23, 2008, inter alia, have accorded the following:

1. Adoption of the audited Balance Sheet of the Bank as at March 31, 2008 and the Profit & Loss Account for the year ended on that date together with the Directors Report & Auditors Report thereon.

2. Declaration of payment of 20% final dividend on the paid up equity share capital.
